The source data is from FEMA (FIRMDB_02252021_Miami-Dade-County_Florida). This analysis involved to compare existing flood zone data from our SDE with the 2021 data from FEMA. The analysis was completed based on the following criteria: • The areas with new flood zones (AE, AH, VE), and the affected properties, i.e. The Flagami Neighborhood. Only new properties affected by that, now have a new floodzone AE, AH, VE • The areas where flood zones (AE, AH, VE), were removed and the affected properties, i.e. The Bay Point Neighborhood. Only properties affected that now do not have the floodzones • The areas where the flood zones are going to change from VE to AE, and the affected properties. Based on changes from one to another floodzone • The areas where the flood zones are going to change from VE to coastal A zone, and the affected properties. Based on changes from one to another floodzone • The areas where the flood zones are going to change from AE to VE, and the affected properties à Based on changes from one to another floodzone • The areas where the flood zones are going to change from AE to coastal A zone, and the affected properties. Based on changes from one to another floodzone • The areas where the base flood elevation (BFE) will increase and the affected properties. Based on increased floodzone changes – verify if it is any change from lower to higher floodzone • The areas where the base flood elevation (BFE) are going to decrease, and the affected properties. |
