Service Description: The 10-Meter United States National Grid (USNG) dataset is a high-resolution spatial reference grid derived from the City of Miami's 100-meter USNG grid. Each 100-meter grid cell is subdivided into 10-meter cells to provide enhanced locational precision for mapping, field operations, and emergency management activities. The dataset serves as a standardized geographic reference framework for City of Miami departments, supporting daily operations, asset management, incident reporting, resource deployment, damage assessment, and disaster response. By providing a common coordinate-based reference system, the grid facilitates consistent location identification, interdepartmental coordination, situational awareness, and integration of spatial data across City functions.
